About Kuntal

Hey! My name is Kuntal Vora. My pronouns are she/her. I’m a Counselling Psychologist who enjoys reading, writing short stories, and documenting memories through journaling and clicking pictures. When I’m not working, I’m either watching K-Dramas or Shahrukh Khan’s films, cooking, or taking naps (I take my naps very seriously!)

I got into the field of Psychology by fluke. In my 8th grade, there was a conversation about studying further and I had no idea what to choose. One day, during Math class, my teacher talked about her daughter who was studying Criminal Psychology in the UK. It was that day that Psychology captured my attention. It was decided that I would only study Psychology!

Working with me

The objective of my work is to be your fellow traveler, guiding you along your journey through life. The most important aspect of the process to me is building a therapeutic alliance. Queer affirmative, trauma-informed, and intersectional practices are at the core of my practice. As a feminist and social justice practitioner, I draw on feminist theory to guide my work.
